Found sites that don’t support Linux or even Firefox?

I’m building a list of sites that don’t support Linux/Firefox (mostly for my Firefox add-on), and I’m also hoping to contact all of them pushing for Linux support.

I need your help:

  • Verifying sites are Linux/Firefox incompatible, especially the ones that need login…
  • Contacting sites, explaining that they are not considering X% of the web
  • Finding new sites to add to this list

The list is here.  Thanks!

  1. Can’t believe something like this still exists in 2012.

  2. Hi,
well, I don’t know of any public site, but most SSL VPN vendors I know won’t work with Firefox/Linux even if their main access method if a web portal… A list of SSL VPN web portal that fail with Firefox/Linux that I know of, being forced to use a Windows VM to use them : Forti VPN, Palo Alto Networks SSL VPN, Checkpoint Endpoint security, Juniper Networks, SonicWall SSL VPN.
I don’t think much can be done about it, but who knows :???:

When it comes to Firefox, if you need to use large fonts, google is horrible. Google+ notifications can not be read at all when fonts are bigger then 22. You also miss a lot of search results because it displays them below your monitor scroll ability. Try viewing a list of google documents with Firefox and large fonts. You can read about half the characters.

  4. The airline arkia.com only seems to work on IE. Different states of broken with other browsers.

  5. software-center.ubuntu.com

It looks fine on Ubuntu, but when I view it in Firefox on Windows it’s corrupted.
